Body of man killed in airstrike in Kupiansk recovered from rubble

In Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, rescuers removed the body of a dead man from the rubble.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service, Ukrinform reports.

It is noted that on the evening of April 26, Russian aviation struck residential areas of Kupiansk with guided bombs.

“One of the bombs completely destroyed a private house and damaged seven other houses. This morning, rescuers unblocked the body of a dead man born in 1936 from the rubble. Two women, aged 65 and 60, were also injured – they were diagnosed with an acute stress reaction and refused hospitalization,” the statement said.

Emergency and rescue operations in Kupiansk have been completed, the SES added.

As reported, the day before in Kupiansk, a private residential building was destroyed and 7 houses located nearby were damaged as a result of shelling by the guided aerial bomb.

Also, the building and workshops of a non-operational educational institution were partially destroyed as a result of the shelling by the guided aerial bomb. A 65-year-old and a 60-year-old woman were injured, suffering from an acute stress reaction.
