Serhiy Lysak, head of the regional military administration, said this in a post on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.

According to Lysak, the Russian army launched a massive drone attack on the region, with Ukrainian defenders successfully intercepting and destroying seven UAVs.

The attack claimed the life of the girl in the Hubynykha community of the Samar district. A 6-year-old girl and two adults sustained injuries and are currently receiving outpatient treatment, Lysak added.

The attack also caused significant property damage, partially destroying a private house and an outbuilding, while another house and a garage were damaged.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that a Russian UAV struck a residential building in the Samar district, leaving children trapped beneath the rubble.

Local residents managed to pull one child out, but a girl born in 2012 died from her injuries on the way to the hospital. Another girl, born in 2019, was successfully rescued by emergency responders and handed over to medics. Their parents sustained injuries but declined hospitalization.

In addition, a factory in the Synelnykove district caught fire following another strike. According to preliminary reports, no casualties or injuries have been recorded.
