Russians attack Kharkiv with drones, at least three civilians injured

At approximately 22:10 on April 29, Russian forces launched drone strikes at Kharkiv, injuring at least three civilians.

As reported by Ukrinform, Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed the attack via Telegram.

“Explosions have been heard in the city. Be cautious — Kharkiv is under attack by enemy UAVs,” the Mayor wrote.

He later specified that Shevchenkivskyi and Slobidskyi districts were targeted first, followed by Saltivskyi district.

“In Saltivskyi, according to preliminary data, one of the Shahed drones fell near a medical facility,” Terekhov noted.

Ukrinform’s correspondent reported at least ten explosions within a few minutes in the city.

Terekhov added at 22:27 that Kyivskyi district was also hit and that three people had been injured in Saltivskyi.

As of 22:00, the attack was ongoing, with explosions continuing in the city.

Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported that a private home caught fire as a result of the drone strike, rescue teams are on-site.

As reported earlier, on April 24, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with 14 drones and 11 missiles in a coordinated multi-wave assault. That strike injured two people with shrapnel, three others suffered acute stress reactions, and a 14-year-old girl in a suburb suffered an acoustic injury. At least 70 buildings were damaged.
