One person killed and one wounded in Kharkiv region overnight due to Russian attacks

Over the past day, a woman was killed and another wounded in the Kharkiv region as a result of Russian strikes.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, posted this on Facebook.

According to him, during the day, the Russians used three guided aerial bombs, four Shahed UAVs and two Molniia UAVs.

In Kupiansk, an air strike set a residential building’s ceiling beam on fire.

In Kharkiv, a Molniia UAV hit an open area.

In the village of Vilkhuvatka, Kupiansk district, a 54-year-old woman died as a result of a guided bomb hitting a private household garden. Four private residential buildings were damaged.

In the village of Mykolaivka Persha, Lozova district, a Shahed UAV hit a private household’s garden, burning grass and firewood over an area of 5 square meters, damaging a private house and an outbuilding. A 72-year-old woman was injured.

According to Syniehubov, in the Kharkiv sector, there were eight firefights between the Defense Forces and Russian troops in the areas of Vovchansk, Kamianka, Topol and in the direction of Novovasylivka and Lyptsi.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five Russian attacks in the areas of Novoosynove, Hlushkivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka and Zahryzove.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Molniia drone used by Russians to attack Kharkiv on May 1 was loaded with nails to inflict more damage on people.
