Power transmission line damaged in Mykolaiv region by debris from enemy drones

Russian troops attacked Bashtanka district of Mykolaiv region with drones in the evening. The debris damaged a power line.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim in Telegram.

“In the evening, on May 3, at about 21:40, the enemy attacked [Bashtanka] the area with a Shahed 131/136 UAV. As a result of the attack, the power line was damaged by the debris. As of now, 892 subscribers are without power supply. There are no casualties,” he noted.

Kim added that on the night of May 4, air defense forces and means destroyed four Shahed 131/136 UAVs in Mykolaiv region.

According to him, on May 3, the enemy also attacked the Kutsurubska community three times with FPV drones. The Halytsynivka community also came under attack by drones. As a result of an attack by a Buzka community’s attack drone, a warehouse was damaged.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 69 Russian Shahed and other types of attack UAVs, while another 80 were lost in the area.
