Russians attack Kyiv with drones: 11 people injured, including two children

The number of people injured in Kyiv due to an overnight attack by Russian drones has risen to 11, including two children. Damage and fires were reported in three districts of the capital.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kyiv police on Telegram.

Law enforcement stated that in Obolonskyi district, nine residential buildings were damaged. A fire broke out on the top floor of one of them, which was promptly extinguished by emergency services.

In addition, 11 vehicles were either destroyed or damaged, and part of a shopping center’s territory was also affected.

Residential buildings in Sviatoshynskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts were also damaged.

According to Kyiv police, a total of 11 people aged between 14 and 70 were injured due to the Russian terror attack.

Investigation teams, bomb disposal experts, and emergency service workers are currently working at the scenes.

As reported earlier, explosions were heard in Kyiv during the overnight drone attack on May 4. Authorities stated that air defense systems were active during the incident.

Emergency services extinguished all fires that broke out in Kyiv following the Russian drone attack.
