
Russian forces carried out multiple attacks on the Kherson region in the past day, killing one civilian and injuring another.
According to Ukrinform, Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, reported the strikes in a Telegram post.
He stated that numerous settlements—including Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Komyshany, Poniativka, Naddniprianske, Beryslav, Shliakhove, Charivne, Berehove, Kizomys, Kozatske, Zmiivka, Lviv, Mykilske, Novovorontsovka, Novotianka, Odradokamianka, Sofiyivka, and Tiahynka—came under drone attacks, artillery shelling, and air strikes.
The attacks damaged a multi-story building, three private homes, and several vehicles.
Prokudin emphasized that one civilian was killed while another sustained injuries as a result of Russian aggression.
As Ukrinform reported, on May 8, Russian forces dropped explosives from a UAV on the village of Poniativka in the Kherson region, killing a woman.
