President Volodymyr Zelensky held a Staff meeting, with Ukraine’s missile program being one of the key topics discussed.
The head of state shared the update in his video address, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
“I held a Staff meeting today. The key topics were Ukraine’s missile program and our drones – all types of drones we need. There were also reports on drone usage – precision and effectiveness of strikes on the front lines. I want to thank all our manufacturers working to ensure that Ukraine maintains its technological edge,” Zelensky said.
The President also emphasized the importance of protecting critical infrastructure.
“We are also working to protect our infrastructure and ensure long-term defense capabilities – these are systemic decisions, and responsibility for their implementation is personal,” the President stressed.
As Ukrinform reported, Presidential Advisor on Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin stated at a forum in Brussels that Ukraine has achieved significant success in developing new tools for military resistance against Russian aggression.
According to him, Ukraine’s defense industry is capable of producing not only unmanned systems but also a full range of modern weapons and ammunition, including 155mm artillery systems and shells, armored vehicles, missile weapons, and much more.
