A 49-year-old woman was killed by shelling in Kherson, and proceedings have been initiated.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
“Under the procedural supervision of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the commission of a war crime that led to the death of a person,” the statement said.
According to the investigation, on May 15, 2025, at about 12:50, the Russian military fired artillery at Kherson. As a result of the shelling, a 49-year-old woman sustained injuries incompatible with life.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian troops attacked a 71-year-old cyclist with a drone in the city of Beryslav in Kherson region.
