
A fire has been reported in a non-residential area of Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi district following a drone attack, with firefighters currently working at the scene.
According to Ukrinform, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported the attack on Telegram.
“A fire has been recorded in a non-residential area of the Sviatoshynskyi district. Firefighters are working at the scene. Reports have also come in about debris falling onto a roadway. Emergency services are en route,” the post said.
No casualties have been reported at this time.
In the early hours of Friday, May 16, air defense was activated in the Ukrainian capital during an enemy drone attack.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Air Force detected several groups of Russian attack drones moving through various regions. Air raid alerts were issued in Kyiv and other parts of the country.
