
Explosions have been heard in Kherson since early morning; Russian forces attacked a civilian vehicle with a drone; civilians were injured and residential buildings damaged.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
“The enemy continues to attack Kherson residents. Loud explosions have been heard in the city since early morning,” the statement reads.
At approximately 10:30, Russian troops dropped explosives from a drone onto a civilian car, which caught fire as a result. Two people were injured in the attack: a 55-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man both sustained explosive and craniocerebral injuries, as well as concussions. Medical personnel are providing them with assistance.
Residential buildings in central Kherson also came under Russian fire. Walls were damaged, and windows were shattered in residents’ homes.
As Ukrinform previously reported, social workers in Kherson came under enemy fire while loading humanitarian aid. A vehicle was damaged, and a driver was wounded.
In the town of Beryslav, Kherson region, a 50-year-old man was killed in a drone attack, and another civilian was injured.
