President Volodymyr Zelensky met with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was also present at the talks.
The meeting was confirmed by Ukrainian presidential spokesperson Serhii Nykyforov, according to Ukrinform.
“The meeting (with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance – ed.), attended by Marco Rubio, has just concluded,” Nykyforov stated.
Earlier today, President Zelensky attended Pope Leo XIV’s inaugural mass at the Vatican.
During his closing speech at St. Peter’s Square, Pope Leo XIV mentioned the Russian-Ukrainian war, calling for a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
