Invaders attack village in Kharkiv region – two women wounded

Russian troops launched an air strike on the village of Starovirivka, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, injuring two local residents.

According to Ukrinform, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported this on Facebook.

According to the investigation, on May 19, at about 15:15, the Russian Armed Forces launched an air strike on Starovirivka, Kupiansk district.

Two women aged 45 and 73 were wounded. They are in hospital.

Private and apartment buildings, a car, and a post office were also damaged.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor’s Office, an investigation into the commission of a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, rescuers in Kharkiv region extinguished large-scale fires caused by Russian strikes on the village of Staryi Saltiv in Chuhuiv district.
