Ukraine’s air defense forces neutralized 93 drones launched by Russia in an overnight attack that began on the evening of May 19.
The Ukrainian Air Force said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, according to Ukrinform.

Beginning at 19:00 on Monday, May 19, Russian forces launched 108 strike UAVs — primarily Shahed-type drones and other drone decoys — from Bryansk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
Ukraine’s air defenses, including fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, drone warfare units, and mobile fire groups, responded to the aerial assault.
As of 09:00 on Tuesday, May 20, Ukrainian forces had successfully neutralized 93 Shahed-type and other drones across eastern, northern, and central regions. Of these, 35 were destroyed by air defense fire, while 58 were suppressed or neutralized by electronic warfare systems without causing damage.
Damage from the attack was reported in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, and Zhytomyr regions.
