Five injured as Russian forces attack Bilozerka with drone

A Russian drone strike targeted the village of Bilozerka in the Kherson region, injuring five people.

The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“At around 08:00, the Russian army launched a drone attack on Bilozerka. A 62-year-old woman was hit in the strike,” the statement said.

Preliminary reports indicate she suffered a blast injury and was taken to the hospital by emergency responders.

Later, the administration reported that the number of those injured had risen to five.

“It has been confirmed that three more people were wounded in the Russian UAV attack on Bilozerka,” the update stated.

In particular, a 67-year-old woman was diagnosed with a concussion, blast injury, and closed head trauma. A 61-year-old local resident sustained a blast injury, along with wounds to her chest, shoulder, and leg. A 47-year-old woman suffered a concussion, shrapnel wounds to her arms and legs, a blast injury, and closed head trauma.

The previously reported 62-year-old woman was diagnosed with a blast injury, concussion, and wounds to her chest and legs.

All injured individuals have been hospitalized and are receiving medical care.

Additionally, another victim of the drone attack sought medical assistance. A 54-year-old woman suffered a blast injury and concussion. She will receive outpatient treatment.

On May 14, Russian forces targeted a civilian vehicle in Bilozerka with a drone, injuring a 49-year-old man.
