Estonian developer of robotics and autonomous systems Milrem Robotics has sold six unmanned ground vehicles THeMIS to the French company CNIM Systèmes Industriels, which will be delivered to Ukraine.

This is reported by ERR with reference to the company’s press service, Ukrinform reports.

Milrem Robotics said that CNIM will equip THeMIS with its mine-clearing and obstacle removal equipment, and then transfer them under the general name ROCUS to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The agreement is funded by the French government.

“The agreement with CNIM allows us to continue to support Ukraine. Our partnership demonstrates the strength of European defense cooperation and our commitment to providing Ukraine with important capabilities,” said Kuldar Varsi, Chairman of the Board of Milrem Robotics.

ROCUS allows sappers to remotely control the system, detect and defuse explosive devices, and remove obstacles.

In 2023, EDGE Group PJSC, a company headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, acquired a controlling stake in Milrem Robotics, an Estonian company developing robots and autonomous systems for military use.
