“Unfortunately, the Russians do not give signals of a ceasefire, and they are not yet ready to end the war. So, all our forms of pressure, all our work with partners to put pressure on Russia is what is absolutely necessary. Pressure convinces. Pressure on the battlefield. Pressure in the economy, and that’s what sanctions are for. Pressure in politics. I want to thank everyone who supports Ukraine,” Zelensky said.

According to the Head of State, Russian assault operations continue, and Ukrainian forces continue to engage in necessary combat activity.

The situation is the hottest in Donetsk region, particularly in the Pokrovsk direction. Active operations continue in the Kursk and Belgorod regions, which, as Zelensky emphasized, are the defense of Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

“Since the start of the Kursk operation in August, the Russian army has suffered serious losses – more than 63,000 killed and wounded in the Kursk region alone. Our forces also managed to significantly replenish the exchange fund for Ukraine. The more combat operations are brought to the enemy’s territory, the more it protects our communities,” Zelensky said.

The Head of State recognized the 14th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, the 36th Marine Brigade, the 25th Assault Battalion, and the 1st Assault Regiment.

“I am grateful to all of you. This is defense in the Pokrovsk direction. I am also grateful to each of our soldiers for their actions in the Kursk region, I want to thank every sergeant and officer, all our units,” Zelensky said.
