Russian forces attack two districts in Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring civilian

Russian troops launched drone, artillery, and guided aerial bomb strikes on the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region throughout the day, injuring one civilian.

According to Ukrinform, Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, reported this on Facebook.

In the Nikopol district, strikes targeted Nikopol itself, as well as the Marhanets, Myrove, and Pokrovsk communities. The attacks damaged a five-story building, two private houses, an outbuilding, an administrative facility, and several vehicles. A gas pipeline was also hit.

“A 22-year-old woman sustained injuries. She received medical care and will recover at home,” Lysak stated.

In the Synelnykove district, the Mezhova and Novopavlivka communities were attacked.

The Mezhova community was hit twice by Russian drones, damaging two private houses, an outbuilding, and a car. The Novopavlivka community was struck by guided aerial bombs, and officials are still assessing the damage.

Following the morning Russian drone attack on the Samar district, updated reports confirm that a fire broke out, notably affecting farmland.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of May 23, air defense forces shot down four Russian drones over the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the Samar district, a drone strike by the invaders ignited a fire in an unused building.
