According to the media outlet, residents of Dubna, Moscow Region, reported the attacks on the plant. It is noted that the Kronstadt plant specializes, in particular, in the development and production of drones.

The company’s official website states that it has been “developing its own engineering and information technologies in the drone industry, which are in demand in the Russian and global markets, for more than 15 years.”

In Zelenograd (which forms an administrative district within Moscow), a drone attacked the Elma technology park, reports the Baza Telegram channel. The footage published by the channel shows damage to the building’s facade and broken windows. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobianin confirmed that Zelenograd had been attacked, but did not provide any details, only writing that according to preliminary information, there was no serious damage or casualties.

According to him, “there are quite good hits”.

In particular, the N.P. Fedorov Dubna Machine-Building Plant, one of the key components of the Russian defense industry, was hit. The plant is located in the city of Dubna and has been part of the Kronstadt concern since 2020. The main profile is the production of combat UAVs, in particular the Orion complex (Russians call it an analog of Bayraktar), Kovalenko noted.

These drones are used by Russia against Ukraine. The company has deployed full-scale serial production, as well as design development of new versions of drones with advanced combat capabilities.

DMZ also has composite processing shops, modern avionics and control system assembly lines. The plant operates in a war economy mode, increasing production even under sanctions pressure, said the head of the CCD.

In addition, Kovalenko said, the ELMA-Zelenograd technology park, a high-tech cluster specializing in the development of microelectronics, IT solutions, robotics and medical equipment, was hit. It manufactures microchips, elements for guidance systems, and drone control units.

“ELMA is one of the centers where critical components previously imported from the West are being imported, the head of the CCD added.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russian Federation has recorded a decrease in the volume of cargo transportation by rail.
