Any suggestions by Russia about the potential outbreak of the Third World War are completely reckless and inappropriate.
According to Ukrinform, this is how Keith Kellogg, U.S. President’s Special Envoy for Ukraine, responded to a statement by Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev.
“Stoking fears of WW III is an unfortunate, reckless comment by Dmitry Medvedev and unfitting of a world power,” Kellogg wrote on the social platform X.
Kellogg emphasized that “President Trump is working to stop this war and end the killing.”
“We await receipt of RU Memorandum (Term Sheet) that you promised a week ago. Cease fire now,” the diplomat added.
Earlier, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, in response to Trump’s post suggesting that “very bad things” could have happened to Russia, wrote that he knows of only one very bad thing – World War III.
