In Ukraine, as a result of the Russian Federation’s armed aggression, 631 children have been killed, 1,975 have been wounded, and another 2,244 children are missing

This was reported by the juvenile police on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“As of today, more than 2,606 children have been affected by the Russian Federation’s armed aggression. 631 young lives have been lost. More than 1,975 children have been injured. Another 2,244 children are considered missing,” the press service reported.

It is noted that since the beginning of hostilities, Russia has deported or forcibly displaced more than 19,000 Ukrainian children, and only 1,345 of them have been returned home so far.

“Each figure represents a destroyed childhood, shattered dreams, and parents’ hearts that will forever remain empty. But we remember every child. We will not forget. We will do everything to ensure that those responsible are punished and those who are still waiting return home,” the juvenile police said.

As reported, during negotiations in Istanbul, Ukraine handed over to the Russian side a list of Ukrainian children who had been deported to the Russian Federation.
