
On June 6, Russian troops killed two residents of the Donetsk region and injured nine others, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
He announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“On June 6, the Russians killed two residents of the Donetsk region — in Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. Another nine people in the region were wounded during the day,” the post reads.
Filashkin noted that in Myrnohrad, in addition to one fatality, five people were injured yesterday. There were also single injuries reported in Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, Siversk, and Novyi Donbas.
The official said that the total number of casualties caused by the Russians in the Donetsk region (3,243 killed and 7,264 wounded) does not include the figures from Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Earlier reports stated that a 19-year-old volunteer from Khmelnytskyi was killed in the Donetsk region.
