Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian Defense Forces have engaged in 99 combat clashes with Russian troops, 33 of them along the Pokrovsk axis.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook in its operational update as of 16:00 on Wednesday, June 11, according to Ukrinform.
Russian forces shelled several populated areas with artillery, including Liskivshchyna in Chernihiv region; Prohres, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Sukhodil, Ulanove, Studenok, Nova Sloboda, Myropilske, Prokhody, Petrushivka, Turiya, and Popivka in Sumy region.
In the Kharkiv sector, no offensive actions by Russian forces were recorded.
In the Kupiansk sector, six enemy assaults have occurred since morning near Stepova Novoselivka and Pishchane.
In the Lyman sector, 11 clashes occurred, three of the are still ongoing. Fighting continues near Nadiia, Karpivka, Bilohorivka, and toward Olhivka, Stepove, Hrekivka, Andriivka, Zelenа Dolyna, and Torske.
In the Siversk sector, Russian troops attempted to advance toward Hryhorivka but were repelled.
In the Kramatorsk sector, two enemy attacks were repelled near Stupochky and Bila Hora; one battle is still underway.
In the Toretsk sector, Ukrainian forces thwarted nine Russian attacks near Dyliivka, Toretsk, and Yablunivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces conducted 33 attacks in areas including Poltavka, Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Novoukrainka, and Oleksiivka. Ukrainian forces repelled 31 attacks; some fighting continues. Enemy conducted airstrikes on Poltavka and Koptieve.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 enemy attacks near Kostiantynopil, Bahatyr, Odradne, Komar, Novosilka, Vilne Pole, Shevchenko, and towards Zaporizke, Myrne, and Zaporizhzhia. Three engagements are ongoing.
In the Huliaipole sector, four clashes were reported near Malynivka; one attack has already been repelled.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russians tried to advance toward Pavlivka but were stopped.
In the Prydniprovske sector, Russian troops attempted one assault with no success.
In the Kursk sector, nine Russian attacks were repelled, three more are still in progress. The enemy also launched six airstrikes, dropping 15 guided bombs, and carried out 79 artillery attacks, including three with multiple rocket launchers.
There were no significant changes in other sectors of the front.
Earlier, the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group of Troops denied Russian claims of having reached the administrative border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
