North Korea supplies Russia with a fairly wide range of weapons, including artillery systems, multiple rocket launchers, and howitzers.
This was reported to The War Zone by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry (HUR), Kyrylo Budanov, Ukrinform reports.
“The range of armaments provided by North Korea to Russia is quite wide, starting with [122mm] D-74 [howitzers] and 107mm infantry variant [multiple launch rocket systems] MLRS systems to 240mm MLRS and the 170mn M1989 [Koksan self-propelled artillery guns]. Unfortunately, this gun is demonstrating itself quite well in battle. It’s firing from quite a long range, and it’s quite good in terms of accuracy,” Budanov noted.

He added that, as per the HUR estimates, Pyongyang has transferred 120 such systems to Russia. According to Budanov, the supply will continue, since these systems have proven rather effective.
“This is unfortunate for us because this is artillery for long-range firing,” the head of Ukrainian defense intelligence noted.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Kyrylo Budanov said Russia is set to build attack drone production facilities in North Korea.
