The Security Service of Ukraine has released a new video about the special operation “Pavutina” (Spider Web), which resulted in the destruction of 41 military aircraft at four Russian airfields.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the SSU.

“The SSU strikes and will strike the enemy even where he considers himself untouchable! We are working to surprise it with new surprises. No less painful than Operation Spiderweb,” said SSU Chairman Lieutenant General Vasyl Maliuk.

The special operation was a response to massive rocket attacks on Ukrainian cities, hospitals, and energy infrastructure.

This plan was directly supervised by the head of the SSU on behalf of the President of Ukraine, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelensky, and the special operation was prepared in conditions of utmost secrecy.

First, the SSU transported FPV drones to Russia, and then modular wooden houses. Once in Russia, the drones were hidden under the roofs of the houses, which were placed on trucks. At the right moment, the roofs of the houses were remotely opened, and the drones flew off to strike their targets—Russian bombers.

“In accordance with the laws and customs of war, we have worked out completely legitimate targets — military airfields and aircraft that bomb our peaceful cities. So, on our part, there is a real demilitarization of the Russian Federation,” Maliuk emphasized.

The published footage shows the chronology of events: how one of the largest attacks deep behind enemy lines was prepared and carried out.

As reported, on June 1, the SSU carried out a unique special operation to simultaneously strike four military airfields in the rear of the Russian Federation: Olenia, Ivanovo, Diagilevo, and Belaia. Russian strategic aviation, which regularly shells Ukrainian cities, was based there.
