
The program of the NATO summit in The Hague includes a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the level of foreign ministers.
This information was published on NATO’s official website, Ukrinform reports.
“June 24, 19:00 – NATO-Ukraine Council working dinner in foreign ministers’ session,” the announcement reads.
At the same time, according to the program, heads of state and government of NATO countries, accompanied by their spouses, will arrive at the Huis ten Bosch Palace to attend a “social dinner” hosted by the King and Queen of the Netherlands.
The meeting of the North Atlantic Council at the level of heads of state and government is scheduled for the following day, June 25, and will be chaired by the NATO Secretary General.
The NATO summit in The Hague will take place on June 24-25 of this year. Earlier, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that Ukraine was invited to the summit, but refrained from specifying the format of its participation.
It is expected that NATO leaders will focus on three key issues during the summit: increasing defense spending, enhancing defense industrial capacity, and continuing support for Ukraine.
