At least 14 dead, 55 injured in Russian air raid against Kyiv

Fourteen people died in Kyiv as a result of a Russian combined missile and drone attack, while 40 were injured.

Chief of the municipal military administration Tymur Tkachenko broke the news on the death toll, Ukrinform reports.

“Tentatively, 14 people have died in Kyiv. The reports are still being verified,” he noted.

The head of the administration said Kyiv had gone through yet another “difficult night”.

“Another attack, more people injured, houses destroyed, human pain and anxiety. Search for survivors under the rubble is underway. I’m now at the site of one of the strikes. Rescuers, medics, police, volunteers. Everyone is acting as coordinated as possible to help and save those affected,” he specified.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the capital came under a combined attack by Russian drones and ballistic missiles from the evening of June 16 and throughout the night of June 17. Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported that 55 people had been injured.
