Russian shelling of Kherson leaves one dead, four injured

A man was killed and four others were wounded as a result of Russian shelling in the city of Kherson.

That is according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, as reported by Ukrinform.

In the Korabelnyi district, a civilian was targeted by a Russian drone that dropped explosives, resulting in a mine-blast injury to a 46-year-old man. Medical personnel are currently assessing his condition.

Later, reports emerged of an 85-year-old woman injured during shelling in the Dniprovskyi district. She sustained a mine-blast injury and was hospitalized. A 54-year-old woman was also wounded in the same district, suffering facial shrapnel injuries and a mine-blast injury. She is receiving medical treatment.

The regional administration later confirmed a fourth victim from the Dniprovskyi district was hospitalized in serious condition following the attack.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration, also reported that a man was killed in an artillery strike on the Dniprovskyi district. His identity is still being confirmed.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that three civilians were injured across the Kherson region on the same day due to continued Russian strikes, which also caused damage to residential infrastructure.
