
Six civilians were injured in a morning shelling attack on Kherson’s Korabelnyi district.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson City Military Administration (CMA).
“The number of those injured in the morning shelling of the Korabelnyi district by Russian invaders has risen to six,” the statement reads.
A 59-year-old resident of Kherson sought medical help and was hospitalized with a shrapnel wound to the elbow. A 40-year-old woman sustained a concussion and received medical assistance; she will continue treatment as an outpatient.
Earlier, the CMA reported that two other victims — a 62-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman — had been hospitalized with concussions, blast injuries, closed head trauma, and shrapnel wounds. Medical assessments are ongoing.
Additionally, two more people were injured in the shelling that occurred around 7:20. A 66-year-old woman and an 83-year-old man, who were inside their apartment at the time, suffered concussions, blast and closed head injuries, and shrapnel wounds. Both are currently under medical supervision in the hospital.
During the morning attack, a trolleybus was also hit in the Korabelnyi district. “Today at around 7:20, a trolleybus came under enemy fire in the Korabelnyi district. Its rear window was damaged, but thankfully, neither the driver nor the passengers were injured,” the CMA stated on Facebook.
The CMA emphasized that over the past day, six settlements in Kherson community — Kherson, Antonivka, Komyshany, Prydniprovske, Naddniprianske, and Sadove—came under attack by Russian aircraft, artillery, and drones.
Critical and civilian infrastructure were damaged or destroyed. As a result of Russian attacks in Kherson community, three people were killed and three more were injured.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, over the past 24 hours, four people were killed and five injured in Kherson region due to Russian aggression.
