
The Netherlands has signed contracts to produce 600,000 drones for Ukraine as part of the “Drone Line” project, with deliveries expected to begin this year.
This was announced by Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on Facebook, as reported by Ukrinform.
He noted that the contracts are part of a broader Dutch aid package exceeding EUR 675 million, which also includes 100 drone-detection radars and medical evacuation equipment.
“This is an example of true partnership and faith in Ukraine’s victory. Together, we are doing everything possible to ensure that our Armed Forces have a technological advantage on the battlefield,” Umerov stated, expressing gratitude to the Netherlands and Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans for their continued support.
As reported by Ukrinform, on June 24, the Dutch government announced a new military aid package for Ukraine valued at approximately EUR 175 million.
