Rocket attack on Dnipro: one dead, schools, kindergartens, hospitals damaged

There is destruction in Dnipro as a result of the Russian attack. At least one person is known to have died.

This was reported by the mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“After another enemy shelling in Dnipro, 14 schools and kindergartens were damaged. The city hospital and polyclinic were also damaged. There is significant destruction in the private sector. There is one confirmed fatality,” the mayor wrote.

According to Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, a fire broke out in Dnipro as a result of the enemy attack. “Civilian infrastructure has been damaged. In particular, a dormitory, a gymnasium, and an administrative building,” the regional head said.

The Russian army also hit the city of Samara. Details are currently being clarified.

“Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries everywhere,” Lysak added.

Earlier it was reported that on June 24, explosions were heard in Dnipro after an air raid siren was sounded. Train No. 52 Odesa-Zaporizhzhia was damaged as a result of the strike. There are wounded among the passengers.
