Drones from the Prymary special unit of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine have successfully struck Russian air defense systems in temporarily occupied Crimea.
As reported by Ukrinform, the DIU announced the operation on Facebook and released a video of the strike.
“The drones of the DIU’s Prymary special unit continue to systematically weaken Russian air defenses in temporarily occupied Crimea,” the statement reads.
The DIU specified that the footage shows combat operations targeting critical and expensive components of the S-400 Triumf air defense system.
Targets hit by the Ukrainian intelligence drones included: two 92N2E multifunctional radar systems; two 91N6E detection radar stations; one S-400 missile launcher.

“Radars are the ‘eyes’ of the enemy’s air defense system. Without them, these missile systems are rendered inoperable,” the DIU noted.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, explosions were heard in occupied Crimea during the night of June 25, with social media sources suggesting a possible strike on Dzhankoi airfield.
