Russian drones cause damage in Cherkasy region

Overnight on June 27, Ukraine’s Air Defense forces shot down 19 Russian drones in Cherkasy region, though some damage was recorded.

This was announced on Telegram by Ihor Taburets, Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, no casualties were reported.

In Zvenyhorodka district, falling debris damaged windows in three houses, an outbuilding, and a power line. Emergency crews are currently working at the site.

Taburets noted that territory inspections are still ongoing.

As reported by Ukrinform, on June 16, Ukrainian air defenses shot down 18 Russian drones over Cherkasy, with damage and power outages reported.
