Russian forces launched a rocket strike with Smerch multiple rocket launcher system on Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region, resulting in one death and one injury.
This was reported by Head of the Kostiantynivka Military-Civil Administration Serhii Horbunov on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“Today, before noon, the enemy carried out a missile strike on the town of Kostiantynivka using Smerch multiple launch rocket system with an integral high-explosive warhead 9M542. As a result of this treacherous shelling, one civilian was killed and another injured,” the post reads.
The official added that at least three private residential houses were damaged. Due to the proximity to the frontline and the threat of repeated shelling, it is currently impossible to fully inspect the site of the tragedy and eliminate the consequences.
As previously reported, Russian invaders shelled a pharmacy in Kostiantynivka, injuring two civilians.
