Russian troops launched a series of attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region, targeting the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts with FPV drones, artillery and glide bombs, wounding two civilians.
Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, wrote this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“The Russian army targeted the Synelnykove district with FPV drones and glide bombs, striking the Mezhova and Velykomykhailivka communities. Two people were injured in the attack. A 68-year-old woman was hospitalized in moderate condition, while a 69-year-old man sustained less serious injuries and will receive outpatient treatment. The strikes also set two homes on fire and damaged a vehicle,” Lysak said.
The Nikopol district was subjected to renewed attacks by Russian forces, who deployed both drones and artillery. Strikes hit Nikopol city, along with the Marhanets, Pokrovsk, Myrove, and Chervonohryhorivka communities. The shelling damaged critical infrastructure and two private homes, and also sparked fires in nearby dry grasslands.
Overnight, Russian forces used an UAV to strike the Mezhova community. In the early morning, another munition was dropped from an UAV on Malomykhailivka, damaging three private homes.
As previously reported, Ukrainian air defense units shot down a Grom-1 missile over the suburbs of Dnipro.
