
On June 29, Russian troops shelled the central district of Kherson, killing one man and injuring another.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Alexander Prokudin, according to Ukrinform.
“At around 2:30 p.m., the Russian army shelled the central district of Kherson. Unfortunately, one man was fatally wounded as a result of the shelling. His identity is currently being established. My condolences to the family of the deceased,” the post says.
According to Prokudin, a 61-year-old Kherson resident was also injured during the enemy shelling. He was taken to the hospital with blast trauma and shrapnel wounds. Doctors are currently examining the victim.
As reported, two civilians were injured in Bilozerka, Kherson region, as a result of shelling.
