A 47-year-old man was killed as a result of a morning artillery strike on the town of Komyshany in Kherson region; criminal proceedings have been initiated.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
“Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into a war crime that resulted in a person’s death,” the statement reads.
According to the investigation, on June 30, 2025, at around 5:00, Russian troops launched an artillery attack on the town of Komyshany. As a result of the strike, a 47-year-old man sustained fatal injuries.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, two people were killed and eight injured in Kherson region on June 29 due to ongoing Russian aggression.
