In the territory of Ukraine’s Kherson region temporarily held by Russia, local residents are sabotaging the events organized by the occupation administration.
This was reported by the Yellow Ribbon resistance movement via Telegram, Ukrinform saw.
“The invaders report a large bicycle rally for Youth Day in the temporarily occupied areas of Kherson region. They say hundreds of local residents, supporters and activists of the United Russia party were engaged,” the report says.
In fact, there is only one photo published by media to back their claim of a “large-scale patriotic event.” Sharing the photo, the Yellow Ribbon noted there were only four participants in the “bicycle rally”.

As the resistance movement emphasizes, defiance is a widespread public response in the occupied areas. The invaders are forced to bring in actual Russia citizens to work at local factories directly or indirectly involved in supplying the Russian army.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, in the fall of 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the right-bank part of Kherson region, including the city of Kherson. Part of the region on the other side of the Dnipro is temporarily occupied by Russian troops.
