War update: 137 clashes on frontline on Sunday; Pokrovsk, Lyman sectors hottest spots

On Sunday, June 29, there were 137 combat clashes between Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders on the frontline.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its morning update as of 8:00 on June 30.

Russian forces carried out two missile strikes and 62 airstrikes, launching 60 missiles and dropping 117 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they deployed 3,474 kamikaze drones and conducted 6,015 artillery strikes on the Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 59 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian airstrikes targeted the settlements of Hremiach in Chernihiv region, Synelnykove, Vilkhuvatka, Vovchanski Khutory, Okip, Okhrimivka in Kharkiv region, Muravka, Novopavlivka in Donetsk region, Orikhiv, Prymorske in Zaporizhzhia region, and Lvove in Kherson region.

Ukrainian missile and artillery forces struck three clusters of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment, six command posts, three artillery systems, and two other important Russian targets.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue holding off the enemy. The Russians launched 11 airstrikes with 29 guided aerial bombs, and conducted 352 shelling attacks, including eight using MLRS. Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 enemy assaults.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the Russian invaders attacked the Ukrainian positions seven times near Vovchansk and Vovchanski Khutory.

In the Kupiansk aector, five enemy attacks took place. Ukrainian forces stopped assaults near Petropavlivka, Kupiansk, and Pishchane.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attacked 20 times, attempting to breach Ukrainian defenses near Kopanky, Nadiya, Ridkodub, Hrekivka, Torske, the Serebrianskyi Forest, and toward Novoserhiivka, Olhivka, Novyi Myr, Serednie, and Shandryholove.

In the Siversk sector, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled four enemy attacks near Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, and Vyimka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, five combat clashes were recorded near Chasiv Yar and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk sector, the enemy conducted seven attacks near Dachne, Toretsk, and Yablunivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 37 Russian assaults near Rusyn Yar, Razine, Myrne, Myroliubivka, Malynivka, Myrnohrad, Orikhove, Udachne, Promin, Lysivka, Novoserhiivka, Oleksiivka, and towards Volodymyrivka and Novopavlivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian troops carried out 14 attacks near Myrne, Zaporizhzhia, Fedorivka, Bahatyr, Shevchenko, Vesele, Novopil, and Rivnopil.

In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian troops are repelling two Russian assaults near Malynivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, four combat engagements took place as the enemy tried to advance near Kamianske.

In the Prydniprovske sector, the Russians made five unsuccessful attempts to advance.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of enemy offensive group formations were spotted.

As reported by Ukrinform, total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to June 30, 2025, amount to approximately 1,020,010 personnel, including 1,070 in the past 24 hours.
