Ukrainian air defense neutralizes 4,750 enemy targets in June — Air Force

In June 2025, Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces destroyed a total of 4,750 enemy aerial targets.

That is according to the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as reported by Ukrinform.

“In June 2025, Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces destroyed 4,750 aerial targets, including: 93 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles, 14 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles, 12 Kalibr cruise missiles, 13 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missiles, 27 Iskander-K cruise missiles, 2,453 Shahed-type strike UAVs, 659 reconnaissance UAVs, and 1,479 other unmanned aerial vehicles,” the statement read.

In addition, the Air Force reported that its aircraft conducted 895 sorties in May, including approximately 580 for air cover by fighter aircraft and more than 220 for strike missions and close air support.

During June, Ukrainian aviation destroyed 646 aerial targets and carried out strikes on enemy command posts, logistics hubs, and concentrations of personnel and equipment, the statement added.

As reported by Ukrinform, as of July 1, 2025, the estimated total combat losses of Russian forces in the full-scale war against Ukraine reached nearly 1,020,980 personnel, including 970 killed or wounded in the past 24 hours. The Russian army also lost 10,983 enemy tanks (+3 in the past day), 22,928 armored combat vehicles (+6), 29,754 artillery systems (+36), 1,424 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,190 air defense systems, 420 aircraft, 340 helicopters, 42,940 unmanned aerial vehicles (+144), 3,436 cruise missiles, 28 warships/boats, 1 submarine, 53,696 motor vehicles (+103), and 3,921 special equipment units.
