A Russian shelling attack on the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region has killed one civilian and injured two others.
That is according to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, as reported by Ukrinform.
“The enemy targeted civilians in Kupiansk. A Russian shell struck the central part of the city, near a store. Unfortunately, a 55-year-old woman was killed. Two others—a 56-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman—sustained blast injuries,” Syniehubov said.
The wounded were hospitalized, and doctors are currently working to stabilize their condition.
As previously reported, nine settlements across the Kharkiv region came under Russian fire yesterday, leaving five people injured.
