A 34-year-old woman who was critically injured in a Russian drone attack on the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv died in hospital.
This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Unfortunately, a 34-year-old woman who suffered a severe injury during the Russian UAV attack on the Kholodnohirskyi district died in hospital,” the statement reads.
According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, a total of 71 people were injured in two waves of drone strikes early on July 7.
“There are now 71 injured, including seven children,” he wrote on Telegram.
The Prosecutor’s Office specified that the injured include four minors: two boys, aged 7 and 17, and two girls, aged 14 and 9.
The Kharkiv City Council reported that 54 buildings were damaged, with more than 1,600 windows shattered.
“As a result of the enemy attacks today in the Shevchenkivskyi, Slobidskyi, and Kholodnohirskyi districts, 54 buildings were damaged. Over 1,600 windows were broken, along with 120 balcony panes, 16 doors, and five roofs,” city authorities reported.
Utility workers are actively clearing debris and sealing damaged buildings.
A total of 10 Shahed drones were used by the enemy in the attack on the civilian city.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Russian UAVs struck the Kharkiv Regional Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) and the vicinity of the Zaporizhzhia Regional TRC, injuring several people.
