
Russian forces dropped an explosive device from a drone onto a civilian vehicle in Kherson early on Tuesday, killing the 66-year-old driver.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, according to Ukrinform.
“On July 8, 2025, at around 05:00, Russian forces dropped an explosive from a drone onto a civilian car in Kherson. As a result of the detonation, the 66-year-old driver was killed,” the statement said.
Earlier reports said that at around 08:30, Russian occupiers also attacked another car in downtown Kherson with a drone. A 51-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds.
