In Donetsk region, Russian invaders struck Kostiantynivka with FPV drones on Tuesday morning, damaging houses and a gas supply line.
This was reported on Facebook by the head of the Kostiantynivka Military Administration, Serhii Horbunov, according to Ukrinform.
“On July 8, 2025, the city was again subjected to cynical attacks by Russian occupation forces… Early in the morning, the enemy targeted the city of Kostiantynivka with FPV-type strike UAVs… Miraculously, there were no casualties. However, two private houses and a gas supply line were damaged,” Horbunov wrote.
He also recalled that at midnight, Russian troops launched an enemy air strike with a FAB-250 guided bomb with a UMPK module on the building of one of the city’s educational institutions. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the attack, but the blast wave and debris caused significant damage to the building.
“These strikes are yet another example of terror against the civilian population. The enemy deliberately chooses civilian infrastructure targets, putting the city’s residents at risk. In this regard, we emphasize: do not delay a decision that could save your life or the lives of your loved ones, because the enemy is insidious and merciless,” Horbunov stressed.
He again called on everyone who is still in the frontline areas and needs help with departure to take this step today.
As reported, over the past day, three civilians were killed and ten civilians were wounded in Donetsk region as a result of Russian aggression.
