
On the night of July 8-9, approximately 50 Russian drones and five missiles were recorded in the airspace over Ukraine’s Volyn region.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the Volyn Regional State Administration, Ivan Rudnytskyi, reported this on Telegram.
“Last night, the region came under a massive attack once again. Almost everything was directed at Lutsk,” Rudnytskyi said.
He said that around 50 UAVs and five missiles were detected over the Volyn. Information on the strikes and their impact is still being clarified.
Fires are currently being extinguished at warehouse facilities of a local enterprise in Lutsk, as well as in a garage cooperative.
Rudnytskyi added that “as of now, there are no reports of injuries or fatalities.”
On the night of July 8-9, Russian forces launched a combined strike on Lutsk using drones and missiles, including Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. Explosions were heard across the city.
