
Nine civilians were killed and ten injured in Donetsk region over the past day as a result of Russian shelling.
This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, via Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“On July 9, Russians killed nine residents of Donetsk region: five in Rodynske and four in Kostiantynivka. Ten other people were injured in the region yesterday,” Filashkin wrote.
According to an infographic published alongside the statement, since the start of the full-scale invasion, a total of 3,336 people have been killed and 7,501 injured in Donetsk region. These figures exclude casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, where accurate data is still unavailable due to ongoing occupation.
As previously reported, on July 8, Russian forces killed three civilians and injured eleven more in Donetsk region.
