Rheinmetall delivers fourth mobile rescue station to AFU

The German company Rheinmetall is sending Ukraine another, fourth, mobile rescue station.

This was reported in a press release from the company, according to Ukrinform.

As noted, the modular system consists of three cargo trailers. Each of them is equipped with two container modules with sliding elements. When assembled, these sliding elements form a functional medical center with different areas, including triage, emergency care, X-ray, operating room, and intensive care unit.

The aid station can be moved, set up, and put into operation in a very short time.

In addition, the company said that Ukrainian military personnel had undergone training at Rheinmetall Mobile Systeme GmbH in Meckenboren.

“The Ukrainian soldiers participated in the training in a highly professional and committed manner. Especially under the current operational conditions, safe handling of the systems and of the medical equipment is crucial for saving lives on the front line,” said Armin Krenn, CEO of Rheinmetall Mobile Systeme GmbH.

It is noted that during the training of Ukrainian personnel, the main focus was on the operation of mobile infrastructure as well as medical and technical equipment inside the containers.

This included ventilators, X-ray machines, monitoring equipment, and important surgical instruments. Procedures for rapid commissioning, patient care, and interaction between medical teams were also outlined.

In addition, it is noted that the company has received orders for further deliveries and training courses, which will be implemented by the end of 2026.

As reported by Ukrinform, last year the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine ordered eight more rescue stations from the German concern Rheinmetall.

Rheinmetall, the largest in Germany and one of the largest arms concerns in the world, supplies Ukraine with armored vehicles and other equipment.
