In the Donetsk region, Russian forces shelled the city of Kostiantynivka with barrel artillery, killing a woman in her home.
Serhii Horbunov, head of the Kostiantynivka City Military Administration, said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“On July 14, 2025, at 09:25, Russian troops carried out another shelling attack on the city of Kostiantynivka using barrel artillery. As a result of the enemy attack, one civilian — a woman — died at her residence due to fatal injuries,” Horbunov wrote.
He noted that, in addition to the civilian casualty, at least three private homes were damaged, with residents suffering significant material losses.
Horbunov added that a full inspection of the site and assessment of the damage are currently impossible due to the high risk of renewed shelling, the area’s proximity to active combat zones, and the constant presence of Russian drones in the air.
The official once again urged residents not to ignore the danger, to take care of their safety, and to evacuate to safer regions if possible.
On July 14, 2025, at 05:10, Russian occupiers launched three aerial strikes using FAB bombs on Kostiantynivka, damaging residential buildings and an educational facility.
