During firefighting operations following a Russian shelling of Kherson, rescuers came under a second attack.
As reported by Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service announced this on Facebook.
“Today, in the afternoon, the enemy struck one of the districts of Kherson. As a result of the shelling, a non-residential two-story building caught fire,” the statement said.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the attack. However, while extinguishing the fire, the occupiers launched a second strike.

“Fortunately, the rescuers managed to take cover in a shelter – no one was injured,” the SES reported.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, a Russian shelling in downtown Kherson damaged an administrative building.
