The Verkhovna Rada is expected to review the dismissal and appointment of several Cabinet members in the coming days.
Sources among Ukrainian MPs told this to Ukrinform.
“Parliament will soon address the issue of government personnel changes. Tentatively, we expect a vote on ministerial resignations as early as Wednesday, July 16. The appointments may follow on the 17th,” one MP said.
Another source noted that there is no finalized list yet of who will be dismissed and who will replace them: “There’s been a lot of speculation, but nothing is certain for now.”
Sources also indicated that some mandates might be merged.
“Faction meetings should have been held to formally present candidates for ministerial posts. For now, we’re waiting. According to our data, some will retain their posts, others may be promoted, and some will step down. It promises to be a busy week,” another lawmaker said.
President Volodymyr Zelensky, at a meeting with First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, proposed that she take over as head of the Cabinet of Ministers.
